Spring to Clean!
Did you know that Spring Cleaning is an ancient practice? According to National Geographic, many cultures have been doing this for centuries!
We think it is a great way to not just clean physically, but mentally. There is something about organizing and making our environment fresh that enlivens our creativity and creates well being.
In honor of Spring Cleaning – here are some of our favorite tasks. And of course we are offering 20% off all products mentioned with code CLEAN25
Here’s to Spring!

TIME TO EDIT THE CLOSET
I don’t know about you, but my Winter clothes are as appealing as a can of lima beans right now. I take this opportunity to pull out my Spring and Summer clothes and try them on – see what fits and what I just don’t like anymore. We may not have changed weight wise – but perhaps our hair color did or maybe we got more fit? Who knows, but clothing does start to wear down and look different. I throw on my favorite podcast, turn the heat up and start trying on my shorts lol. When done, don’t forget to add the closet and drawer sachets. Beach is my favorite for the Spring/Summer season.
After cleaning out said clothing – I often notice stains that weren’t there before. Weird. But not a problem because our Tried and True Stain Remover works on old set in stains – for real.
Just spray, leave on for 10 minutes, then wash. It may take a few times, but it will come out. That’s why we call it TNT!
FOOT CARE
Now that sandal season is almost here, we really need to moisturize our feet. The winter months can just dry out our skin, so I keep a bottle of our Beach Days hand lotion in our hallway where I put my shoes on. Every morning before walking our dog, I moisturize my feet and slip on socks. It smells good, and also does an amazing job on dry skin. You can also use it as a body moisturizer too!
Where to donate extra stuff – I think we have enough extra clothing to stretch around the planet a few times. Instead of donating, try to mend or repurpose the material. I make it a practice now to buy resale and also buy quality. www.therealreal.com is my favorite place to get good pieces and also resell my old ones. Ebay too!
